A Must for a Postcard Print
Everybody knows that postcards are effective tools in winning clients attention. They are ideally used for advertisements, coupon cards, business reply, greeting card and invitations. Simple yet possess a powerful marketing feature that grabs customers attention. Since they are vital material used for advertising the postcards that you use must have features that will make them more eye-catching.
The following are among the features that a postcard must have.
1.Paper stock the paper is indeed the basic material that you must think of. It is this factor that makes a postcard bring into being. Now in order to come up with a durable postcard print, the paper must have a 14pt gloss cover stock.
A 14 pt gloss cover stock is very ideal because it has a smooth and superior quality feature that makes it perfect for your cards particularly if you intend to have them in full color postcard prints. This stock is also very ideal even without any additional coating. Its thickness will hold up well over time.
2.The size of course in every marketing endeavor size does matters. You think of a size that will suit to your marketing plan. Postcards as valuable tools for marketing it can be printed with different sizes.
Postcards are available with sizes of 4.25 x 6, 4 x 9, 5 x 7, 5.5 x 8.5, 6 x 9 and 6 x 11. Mainly among the sizes offered are 4.25 x 6 sizes, this is the very common cards that are being purchased. And if you want to have them in bigger sizes for your custom cards you can choose among the above mentioned.
3.Coating next thing that a postcard must have. After the course of the printing production you wanted to protect the inks and colors of your cards. Though it is said to be that a 14pt gloss cover stock can be ideal, still you wanted to have them an elegant look. You want to protect your cards and you can opt for the following coating options.
You can have a UV coat or a matte coat for your cards. UV coating is applied if you want your cards to have a vibrant and high gloss look for your postcards. This coating is added for an extra protection of your cards from fading and moisture.
You can choose to have matte coating. Matte coating is ideal if you prefer to have a smooth and elegant look of matte finished postcards.
You can also choose to have no additional coating at all. Like what was mentioned the 14 pt gloss cover stock is ideal because its feature is ideal enough to be used even without coating.
4.Inks making use of the four color offset printing process allows you to make use or apply any full color logo, photograph or graphics on your postcard prints.
Basically featuring the must haves for the postcard printing jobs well you are on the right tract of winning your clients attention. Keeping in mind what had been said will basically help in winning every customers attention and ending up with more sales and profits.

Competition Is Fierce For Good Home Mortgage Rates
When it comes to home mortgage rates there are a few theories or thoughts. If you are looking to afford that dream home you may be attracted to an ARM loan (Adjustable Rate Mortgage Loan). This type of loan will work fine in some cases, but usually it is not the best way to go unless you have a well thought out plan.
If you are looking for competitive home mortgage rates you can find a war going on with online lenders. They all want your business and this is good for you the consumer. The interest rates are a never ending mystery as to where they will go. One minute you hear that they will rise and the next day you see them dropping to a more reasonable rate than before.
Your home mortgage rates are important, but it should not be your main focus. People often get caught up in trying to find the lowest home mortgage rate instead of finding the best home mortgage loan. The best loans are almost always fixed rate mortgage loans that allow for early repayments.
If you end up with a low interest rate mortgage loan, but there are several fees and penalties attached to it then you may not have a bargain at all. In these types of cases it might have been just as well to pay rent on a nicer home rather than suffer being stuck with a 30 year mortgage hanging over your head.
The key to good home mortgage rates is to find the best rate with the terms you like. With so many companies competing for your business it is much easier to get a good loan than you may think.

Mopar Magic-Dodge and Plymouth Muscle Cars
Whether you were an enthusiast back in the 60's or a more recent admirer, these cars are guaranteed to impress. Mopar is actually the auto parts division of Chrysler. The name refers to (MO)tor (PAR)ts and has been around since the 1920's and is still in use today.
Auto enthusiasts however, normally think of Dodge and Plymouth Muscle Cars from the 60's and into the 70's when using the term Mopar. Those of us that were involved in drag racing in the 60's will remember Mopar as dominating the S/S (Super Stock) classes with Dodge and Plymouth 440 Hemi engines.
On the oval tracks Mopar racked up over 400 NASCAR wins before retiring from factory sponsored racing. The Hemi engine proved not only to be powerful but also reliable.
American automobile manufacturers, realizing the appeal of a faster more powerful car, were quick to jump on the muscle car bandwagon. Chrysler introduced the Charger, Road Runner, Super Bee, Dodge Daytona, Dodge Polara and the Plymouth Sport Fury.
The Polara and the Sport Fury were more the economy models sporting big engines but few luxury options. They were made to order for the young drag racer that needed an everyday car, but was also a drag strip "weekend warrior".
The mid seventies saw higher gas prices, gas rationings and the beginning of automobile emission concerns. Coupled with the less than average handling and braking abilities and the rise in insurance, cost for the high powered sport sedan, interest in muscle cars began to dwindle.
Along with lack of interest comes lack of sales. The Big 3 auto manufacturers began to pull out of the muscle car business. This prompted a withdrawal from factory sponsored racing and from the factory high performance engineering.
Muscle cars tried to make a comeback in the mid to late eighties, but most were watered down with option laden attempts to give the consumer both speed and comfort. Although cars like the Camaro and TransAm were successful, they never reached the lofty status of the Muscle Cars.
Now in the new Century, muscle cars have become collector cars bringing amazingly high prices when restored to their original condition. It's not unusual to find a Plymouth Barracuda or Superbird bringing $100,000.00 at the premium collector car auctions. Dodge Daytona's are in the six-figure range consistently. These prices and the high demand for Mopar Muscle Cars make them great investments as well as wonderful

Chairs, Posture and the Alexander Technique
As a teacher of the Alexander Technique(1), I am frequently asked about chairs by my students, and about which designs are best. Some have been given very expensive, ergonomically-designed chairs at work and wonder if they are actually any better than ordinary ones. Others complain about their car seats, or about the curved plastic chairs often found in waiting rooms and in many airport lounges.
t is certainly true that some chairs are a lot more comfortable than others, and that some chairs make it easier to have a healthier upright posture. But even if you could find the perfect chair, you could hardly carry it around with you all day long. Sooner or later, you would be confronted with a choice between standing or sitting in a less than desirable chair.
From an Alexander Technique perspective, looking for the perfect chair is an exercise in futility. It is our body that sits in a chair, and if we want to improve our comfort and health, our primary attention must be directed at improving our own functioning - that is, what we do with our own body when we sit.
Its a sort of bad news, good news situation: The bad news is that we cant blame our aches and pains on our furniture. As the cartoon character Pogo once remarked, We have met the enemy and they is us! The good news is that we have it within our power to change the way we sit and, in fact, we can learn how to sit well in virtually any situation that presents itself to us.
The Alexander Technique is a very powerful method of learning to do just that. It teaches you ways to direct your body so that you can have an easy upright posture in virtually any sitting situation you find yourself in.
But what about those expensive ergonomically-designed chairs? Wont they insure good seating posture at least during the time youre using them?
Im afraid the answer is no. Its entirely possible to slouch, or distort your body in other ways while using these chairs. An ergonomist colleague of mine tells me that offices around the country are littered with unused very expensive chairs (and other furniture items) because they didnt seem to help.
In fact, some ergonomic designs are positively harmful. When I lived in England, training to become an Alexander Technique teacher, I often had occasion to use the British Rail system. I soon noticed three distinct types of seats: older, very basic, seats with padded flat bottoms and backs; somewhat newer seats (from the 1950s and 60s) that had a forward bend in the seat backs; and some quite new seats that combined an exaggerated bend with a forward-protruding head rest.
I noticed that the newer chairs made it very difficult for the average rider to sit without having his or her head pushed so far forward that a slouch was almost inevitable. Of course, as I said earlier, with training its possible to sit well in pretty much any chair, but these new seats were among the most challenging Ive ever encountered. The older chairs were far better because their neutral design didnt force unnatural body contortions.
I learned that these new seats were, in fact, designed by ergonomists and that the way they went about their design was to match the chair to posture of the average rider. But the average rider has pretty poor sitting posture to begin with so these chairs were simply reinforcing that prevailing pattern.
So, what advice can I give regarding chairs? First, dont look to a chair as the primary solution to poor posture - remember its your posture and so its you that has to learn how to change it. But if you have a choice, I recommend very simple, basic designs - fairly flat, reasonably firm bottoms and backs that do not force your torso into any particular shape.
In addition, theres a lot to be said for having your knees at a lower height that your hips. This tends to encourage the natural double C curvature of your spine that provides easy upright support for your body. The simplest way to do this is to use a stool whose base is higher than the typical chair when you can. My students are often skeptical when I recommend this (Theres no backrest!) but most of those who try it for a few days report feeling far more comfortable once they get used to the added height.
1. The Alexander Technique is a century-old method of learning how to release harmful tension from your body. The Complete Guide to the Alexander Technique is a comprehensive information source.
The Ergonomics.org website at http://www.ergonomics.org explores the relationship between the science of ergonomics and the benefits of Alexander Technique training.
Robert Rickover is an Alexander Technique teacher living in Lincoln, Nebraska. He also teaches regularly in Toronto, Canada. An Idea Worth $25,000
I'd like to tell you how just sharing one simple idea earned a man $25,000 and how that idea can mean even more to you. Now, the story has been told many times before. We may never know exactly what happened, but the important parts of what you are about to read are true. More importantly, the principle it contains can revolutionize your life. If you use what you are about to learn, you will begin getting more things done that you ever thought possible.
More Knowledge Isn't Going To Help
The efficiency expert named Ivy Lee wrapped up his short presentation. He felt confident. After all, he had given the speech before and had found success. To top it off, he knew how badly this steel mill needed his help.
He stared the stone faced president in the eye. "Mr. Schwab, if you allow me the chance to help, I'll teach you and your executives to manage better. You'll know how.."
Schwab cut him off. "Look, Mr. Lee, I'm sure your services are great, but we don't need them. We don't need any more 'knowing' around here. I don't manage as well as I know how to now." He shook his head. "We already know what we should be doing. If you can just show us a way to get it done better, I'll pay you anything you want."
For a moment, Ivy was almost flustered. A lesser man would have turned tail and run. Ivy forced himself to remain cool and collected. After all, he had an idea.
Ivy took a step toward the the steel president's desk. "What if I could give you something in the next 20 minutes that would raise your efficiency by 50%?"
Schwab raised an eyebrow and tilted his head slightly. "Go on."
The Idea
Lee smiled to himself. This was a good idea. He bent down and rifled through his briefcase for a moment, then pulled out a small piece of paper. He put it on the large desk and slid it toward Schwab.
Schwab looked slightly confused. He glanced up at Ivy Lee and then stared at the paper.
Lee took a half step back. "Do you see this piece of paper?"
Through a furrowed brow, Schwab looked up again. "Of course."
"Take that paper and write down the six most important things you need to do tomorrow."
Schwab thought for a couple of minutes and scribbled down six items. After he finished, he tossed his pen back onto the desk. "Now what?"
Lee folded his arms and looked down at the paper. "Now number them in order of importance."
Schwab reached across the desk to grab the pen he had just flung. It only took a moment to put them in order. This time he laid the pen on top of the list.
He gave a nod. "There."
Lee smiled again. "Now, tomorrow when you get to work, I want you to work on the first item until it is done. Distractions will arise. Ignore them. Work on number one until it is done. Then move on to number two, then when that's also finished, number three, and so on. At the end of every day, make a new list. Don't worry about the things that don't get done. You will know you have been doing the most good possible for your company, and if you can't get all items done using this method, you couldn't get them done using any other system, either. Once you've had time to prove to yourself the value of this, have your people try it out as well. In fact, try it out as long as you like. Then, you can send me a check for whatever you think it is worth."
The steel mill president stood up and extended a hand, but he looked lost in thought.
They shook hands and Lee left, confident his idea was a winner.
The Payoff
Several weeks later, Ivy Lee received a letter in which Schwab informed him that his list idea was the most profitable thing, from a money standpoint, that he had ever learned.
Enclosed in the letter was a check for $25,000.
It has since been said that this simple idea was largely responsible for helping the obscure steel mill grow to be one of the largest steel producers in the world.
In other words, to Bethlehem Steel, this idea was literally worth millions.
The Point
This idea can be worth the same to you. Give it a try.
Bryce Beattie is a has written a software program to help people use the $25,000 idea. Check it out at http://www.babykatiemedia.com/listofsix.php

Save Money With A Tankless Hot Water System!
With the price of a kilowatt hour of electricity rising each and every year, becoming energy efficient has gone from being only a social consideration to a very serious budget consideration.
One way that a home owner can save money on their electric bill is to convert from a conventional tank style hot water system to an on demand or as they are sometimes called a tankless, hot water system.
An on demand hot water system works, just as its name implies, by heating water only when there is a demand, within the home for hot water. Incoming cold water is connected to the tankless system, which is a high efficiency heat exchanger. Electric heating elements wrapped around the piping within the tankless system transfer heat to the water at a very high efficiency. The only time the electric elements are turned on is when someone opens a hot water tap within the home. The system senses the reduction in pressure, water flows through the coils within the on demand system and heat is transferred from the elements to the coils and then to the water. The instant that the demand has stopped, the faucet, or tap is turned off, the elements are turned off.
In a conventional hot water tank system the water is heated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, whether there or not there is demand.
Conventional hot water tanks are prone to corrosion because they store water that has a mineral content. As the water is heated, the minerals settle to the bottom of the tank, creating heating inefficiencies and corrosion. Where a conventional hot water tank has a life expectancy of less than 10 years, the tankless systems have life expectancies of more than 25 years.
Retrofitting a tankless system is not a difficult project, as the on-demand systems are about the same size as a briefcase they will readily fit in any location where there is currently a hot water tank.
The on demand systems require a large amount of electricity for short periods of time, a unit for an average home will require 60 amps at 230VAC nominal. This means that the incoming electrical service to the home should be a minimum of 200 amps. The wiring that currently runs from the electrical panel to the hot water tank will most likely have to be upgraded, as most hot water tanks operate on a 30 amp to 40 amp circuit.
For additional information on hot water systems for your home or other renovation projects, visit Renovation Headquarters.

Data - How Much of it is Stored?
Data is anything that you have entered into your computer. It is placed or read by small magnetic head that floats over the spinning platters. It is stored on the floppy disk by read write head of the floppy disk drive. Computer memory allows it to function in various ways, for example software to be run and data to be saved and processed. While all forms of memory work together, RAM is considered the main memory because most data is stored in RAM before it is registered in any other storage device. A computer uses Ram to hold temporary data needed to complete tasks. This enables the computer's CPU (Central Processing Unit), to access data stored and it can be retrieved much quicker than from the hard drive. A computer might store some or all of its program in memory that is kept separate from the data it operates on. Because memory is one of the most important parts of a computer, it has been redesigned to enable it to store more data and work faster. Such as Double Data Rate (DDR) memory. This means your computer can access the data in memory twice as fast as the normal speed. However DDR doubles the amount of data it can transfer by transferring data twice per cycle--on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal.
Systems
New systems use a type of memory that can access data on the rising and falling edges of the system clock pulses. Hard drives save the data on metal or ceramic disks. Depending on its capacity, such a disk can hold from a few hundred thousand to over one million bytes of data. The system can creates free space in a computer memory by using a 'downsize' operation, which selectively removes data from a data object residing in the memory. Data in the memory provides a downsize operation that is designed just for that data will reduces the amount of space that the data occupies in the memory by deleting data that can be recreated from another source, or data that is not essential to the function of the data object.

First Impressions Count! Lasting Impressions Sell! Bet Your Business Card On It
It's the trade show of the year, and you're poised to meet, greet and network up a storm because the precise buyers for your product or services are here. Business card? Check. Sales brochures? Check. Product samples, informational literature, or other appropriate peripherals? Check.
But wait. Let's go back to item #1 - both in the list above and the all-important first step in creating a strong, lasting and favorable impression. In other words, what you looked like or said may not be remembered when potential customers are back home, but your business card will be in the pile he'll sift through to separate the wheat from the chaff; the business she'll want to follow up on.
What's your card saying about you? Here are some of the most common mistakes you've no doubt seen and reacted to negatively. Tossing the card into the wastebasket is inevitable.
Paper too thin. Card is wimpy and bends or crumples in your hand or briefcase. And screams cheap. Might be an indicator of your other business practices and products.
Pre-printed perforated cards you run through your computer printer. More cheap impressions, plus your card may look like dozens of others because of the limited preprinted designs available.
There's much more. Boring. Bad choice of type face and size. Too much or too little information. No focal point, muddy graphics -- the list goes on.
Your business card is often the first -- and perhaps only -- impression prospective clients may see. Will it encourage them to find out more about you and your business? Having a good logo design and a clean layout leaves them with a favorable first impression that you're a credible professional businessperson.
Following are 13 easy ways for you to do what the professional designers do; insider secrets about business cards that go right to your first impression and bottom line.
1. Create a focal point or central place that draws a reader's eye.
2. Allow white space to help balance the layout. Don't fill up the card with text.
3. Use a clear, strong logo that looks good when reduced in size on your business card.
4. Use a highlight color sparingly. Make sure colored elements highlights the one main message you want to convey.
5. Be sure the highlight color you choose is appropriate to your business. For example, using green on a lawn care business card would be far more appropriate than say red or orange.
6. Limit your selection of type fonts to no more than two, which may also include their "families." For example, a font family includes styles such as bold, italic, or bold italic versions.
7. Format text to be smaller, more compact, and more professional looking.
8. Choose appropriate fonts for your business, avoiding trendy, or overly embellished versions.
9. Avoid using all capital letters because they are more difficult to read, and look unprofessional.
10. Use a grid to align text and objects to each other.
11. Don't use illustrations that are too detailed or delicate, as they may look muddy when printed at a small size.
12. Stay away from amateur-looking or dated clip art (unless you are going for the "retro" look). Find good quality resources.
13. Select a beefy cover stock for your paper. Sometimes 80# cover is not enough. You can get a free swatch book from your printer or paper representative. The swatch book will give you the opportunity to examine and feel the various sheets for finish, thickness, stiffness, opacity (translucence), and color.
Impress your clients with your cards as though your business depended on it! Cards are small in size but huge in importance to your business success. Start employing these design tips to ensure your cards are doing the biggest possible job for you.

Writing Help - Grammar Rules, Hints & Tips for Writing Dates
As an editor, I am able to see many common mistakes that people tend to make consistently in their writing. Conversational style is great in the tone of the piece, and sometimes grammar does indeed take a back seat to impact and imagery. However, there are certain common errors that are made in writing that do not change impact or imagery and are simply grammar and editing errors. Lets look at one of the most common writing mistakes made.
DATES
One of the most common mistakes I see in editing appears to be a little known rule about how to properly punctuate and use dates in writing, especially denoting a year. Unfortunately, this is such a common mistake that most people arent even aware that it is not grammatically correct when they see the error. Ive even seen these errors in headlines of major newspapers and magazine, and this error proliferates the internet.
When you are writing and have the need to include a date, proper format for writing out the complete date is as follows:
Example: October 31, 2006
Now, this is usually written properly, but what happens when you want to include the day of the week?
Example: Tuesday, October 31, 2006
Then there is the special circumstance where you might want to write the date like this:
Friday the 13th, October 2006
Note that there is no comma before the year when the month immediately precedes it?
But these are mostly used correctly, and are included here only for reference. The one that bothers me the most about dates is the use of the year, abbreviated, and how that is often punctuated incorrectly.
For example, we often refer to decades by only the last two digits of the year, right? The decade that is 1980-1989 is often referred to as The 80s.
Now, note how I wrote 80s
An apostrophe is used for two things in writing 1) a contraction, meaning that something was removed or left out, and the apostrophe takes the place of the missing item. In the word dont the contraction is short for DO NOT and the apostrophe takes the place of the O in the word NOT 2) an apostrophe is used to denote possession on some words where the word will end with an S. While it isnt used on all words to show possession (the exception most noted being: its), it is for most.
Sallys dog Toms briefcase
In the instance of the dates we are referring to, use both of these rules to determine the appropriate way to punctuation the decades.
Because the decade of 1980-1989 is abbreviated from the 1980s, the apostrophe belongs at the beginning of the number, and because there is no need to show possession for the decade, there is no apostrophe between the number and the S.
Example: 80s, 90s, etc.
The decade itself often is used as an adjective, and people sometimes mistake this as being the possessive form, and thus in need of the apostrophe. This is not the case.
Example: The 80s rock band, Duran Duran, had a successful career. (although the opinion is up for debate, the sentence is grammatically correct.)
Note that in this example, 80s is an adjective describing the rock band and not a possessive denoting that the rock band is owned, possessed by, or belongs to the decade itself.
Just some tips for writers out there about how to properly denote dates and years in professional writing, even though many of the professionals make these same mistakes regularly.

How To Cook Pork Loins
When it comes to cooking pork loins there are a plethora of ways you can do so. You can roast the pork, fry it, grill and broil it, steam it and much more. Pork loin refers to the cuts of meat from above the pigs rib cage, along both sides of the backbone, and along the shoulders to the hind legs. In general, pork loin refers to a wholesale cut.
When you purchase pork loins from a butcher you will have to specify what cut you are looking for. Some of the cuts that you are probably familiar with include pork roast, pork ribs, pork steak, and pork tenderloin. The cut of meat that you select will decipher how you will go about cooking your pork.
Pork today is much leaner, which decreases the amount of fats and diets and increases the health benefits for people today. Because of the leanness in pork today, there is less fat to moisten and add flavor to. Therefore, the main concern when cooking pork loin is to not overcook it. To get the richest flavor from your pork, it is recommended that you cook it at a temperature of 155-160 degrees.
As mentioned, there are several different ways you can go about cooking your pork loin. However, there are two general methods: dry heat and moist heat. Dry heat is what you will want to use for your naturally tender pork such as bacon, chops, steak, loin roasts and tenderloins. Cuts of meat that are less tender like ribs and shoulder cubes you would moist heat.
From there you will find several variations of ways to cook the meat depending on what the recipe is, how you like your meat cooked, and what type of cut you have. There are a number of techniques that are extremely effective in cooking meat, but it all depends on personal preference.
The most common method for cooking pork loin is roasting it, which is a dry heat method. Some of the cuts you may consider roasting include Boston butt roasts, ham roasts, loin roasts, tenderloins and ribs. Overall, it will take you a little longer to roast your pork loin, which is why many people opt to roast the meat when they are preparing other dishes for the meal. It is perfect not only because it takes longer than other methods, but it also requires little attention.
Because of the number of variations that apply to how you can cook your pork loin, this is a basic overview of what you need to look for. The main thing is to consider what type of cut you are purchasing and what recipe you will be using it for. The rest can be determined in greater detail as soon as you have the basics decided. Just know that you have a plethora of options when cooking your pork loin.

The Difference Between Satellite Internet and DSL
What is Satellite Internet? Getting high speed internet through satellite is called as satellite internet. Satellite internet is much faster than DSL or cable internet. Satellite internet can be accessed even in remote corners of the country. They are easy to install and operate. The internet speed is higher than DSL or cable internet. Satellite internet is also called as lightning fast internet connection. You can download heavy files in quick time and even listen to online radio uninterrupted. The internet speed is constant and does not fluctuate.
What is DSL? The full form of DSL is Digital Subscriber Line. DSL internet is faster than cable internet. It is a broadband internet connection and files can be uploaded and downloaded quickly. The most important point is that you do not require any new cabling to be connected to DSL internet. You can simultaneously connect through the phone lines for accessing internet and receive and make calls too. DSL internet is much more faster than dialup internet. While you opt for a DSL internet connection, you get a DSL modem for connecting to the internet.
The differences between Satellite Internet and DSL:
You can stay connected to the internet always with the help of satellite internet. The satellite internet service provides two way internet access, which provides internet speed without fluctuations in bandwidth. While in DSL internet, the internet speed is not constant.
Satellite internet does not require huge cabling or telephone connection to access the internet. The speed of the internet is also constant as satellite internet uses two way high speed internet. In DSL internet the internet speed depends on the telephone wires and in case there is some cabling fault then your DSL internet would come to a stand still. The better the quality of your telephone cable the better your internet speed.
Satellite internet service can be accessed anywhere and at any time. You can use satellite internet even in remote places. DSL internet can be accessed where there are telephone lines.
The downloading speeds of audio and video files are smooth while in DSL internet the files take a lot of time to download.
If you stay in a city or a rural area the speed of the satellite internet would be the same while with DSL internet the speed would be high if you are near the main office of the DSL service provider. The farther you are located from the main office of the DSL service provider the lower the internet speed.
The best Internet solution: With technology improving day by day, the demand for internet with faster bandwidth and downloading speeds has increased and this in turn has led to satellite internet. With satellite internet there are no cables and no hassles for internet connection and installation. Satellite internet connection is more reliable than a DSL or dial up internet connection. If you feel that there is a need for changing your internet connection, then opting for a satellite internet connection would be the ideal solution.

The Top 5 Reasons You Need an Online Chat Program on Your Website
Firstly, we are all immediate consumers in search of immediate gratification and online chat programs help the customer achieve instant satisfaction. We expect this when we call a company with a physical storefront so we expect this with online companies as well.
Secondly, its cheaper and very cost-effective for smaller companies that cant afford a toll-free phone service such as a 1800 number. For a set fee every month depending on how many hits a site has, you can tailor your business expenses to the amount of customers you have. It allows you to build your costs as you build your business.
Thirdly, it increases the user-friendliness of your site. It allows your customers to see that there really is a person behind that computer screen. We all know that people love face-to-face communication!
Fourthly, customers dont have to wait for a response via e-mail. Customer service and support is immediate. If you want to know if a store has the item you want in stock or if you have a problem with your order you can get help immediately!
Finally, using a system like this increases the credibility of your business. Customers know they can reach you at any time and your business truly becomes global even when its night-time and youre at home but online and a customer across the world wants to ask you a question you can answer it! The time constraints of global trading have become a thing of the past!

Radio Controlled Cars A Brief History
Radio controlled cars first appeared some sixty years ago in the 1940s but the technology at the time was crude and, although cars could be run at speeds of up to 70 mph, it was only possible to run them round and round in a circle on a tether.
By the late 1960s however technology had advanced considerably and miniature solid state radio control systems became available. This meant that cars could be controlled from a control transmitter unit with remotely controlled servo-assisted steering, throttle and brakes. Radio controlled models could now be run on a race track rather than simply in a circle and the precision of control available meant that they could be run in much the same way as a real vehicle.
Despite the advances in technology during the 1960s, it was not until 1976 that the first commercially available cars were seen. Produced by Tamiya (a Japanese company with a reputation for supplying detailed plastic model kits), these early cars were very crude in mechanical terms and somewhat expensive but, nevertheless, they sold well.
Over the coming years Tamiya concentrated its attention on the mechanics of these early models and, by the mid 1980s, they were producing some extremely popular models such as the Grasshopper, Hornet, Blackfoot and Clodbuster with more powerful engines, working suspension systems and textured tyres.
This was really the start of the hobby radio controlled car as we know it today and quickly brought other producers into the market. These included Schumacher Racing (a British company which replaced the then standard solid axle with a ball differential, allowing cars to be finely tuned for different track conditions) and Associated Electrics (a California based company which introduced the model that quickly dominated the off-road racing market - the RC10 off-road electric car).
The 1980s saw a major shift away from what many described as "toy" cars towards truly precision crafted models of the very highest standards. Traditional manufacturing materials were dispensed with as were many of the established production methods. Chassis were now made from high-grade anodized aluminium alloy, which was also used in the manufacture of oil-filled, machined and tunable shock absorbers. Many components normally pressed from plastic were also replaced with high-impact nylon, including such things as suspension control arms and wheels.
Today's interest in off-road 4 wheel drive vehicles was also sparked during the 1980s with the introduction by Schumacher of the Competition All Terrain (CAT) vehicle which won the off-road world championship in 5 out of the 10 years following its introduction.
Competition is of course the driving force behind any market today, including the market for radio controlled cars, and for several years a strong rivalry between Associated Electrics and Team Losi (founded by Gil Losi Jr., a racetrack owner from California) led to a rapid development of high quality models, both technically and in terms of the range of cars available.
Today Associate Electric and Team Losi are still major players in the market and have been joined by others such as the US-based Traxxas company and the Japanese-based company of Kyosho. As these major players continue to compete against each other, and others join the market, so the market for radio controlled cars will go from strength to strength in the years ahead.

PCTV-How To Watch Dish Network & DirecTV On Your PC
PC on satellite TV software is possibly the best low cost innovation that I have come across. The cheapest PC satellite TV come with an inexhaustible array of world wide TV programs from as many as 50 countries. PC on satellite TV package offers over 3000 channels from around the world at the best price and quality. The choices in PC satellite TV are so many that its sometimes difficult to settle on one channel to watch. I personally got confused before I settled on my choice channels after purchasing the quality PC satellite TV software.
Previously the package was selling at an astounding $350 but I was lucky to get the affordable cost of satellite TV software for PCs at only a one time fee of $$49.95. I managed to save at least $300 and started streaming endless channels including Satellite Channels for baseball, football, soccer, basketball, tennis, and racing!
Channels like ESPN News, EuroSports TV, GameSports TV, WHL TV, Fox Network, and Sport Star. When you purchase the easily downloadable software and get your PC on satellite TV, you will also access various other chanels including movies, music, Kids Channels, Shopping News, Radio Stations, Weather, Educational, and many others.
There are many other PC on TV softwares but this is the one that impressed me most due to the ease of using it. To view satellite TV on your computer or laptop, you will need atleast a broadband internet connection, a Pentium II processor with at the least 333Mhz speed for easy uninterrupted viewing.
The compatible operating system for a PC on satellite TV software include Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. In addition your computer should have a hardware that has a sound card and a spare USB slot. To watch online satellite TV on your PC, you need to download the free media players like Windows media player, real player, or quick time player which will make your viewing easy.
To get your PC on satellite TV software you can now easily purchase from online satellite TV software dealers like the one given here . This PC on satellite TV software beats the rest in the market hands down and the dealers offer a money back guarantee incase you are not satisfied with the software.
Moreover there are no monthly subscriptions or deductions after the initial purchase of $49.95 with this package. This I found very interesting after being used to cable and other satellite TV where you pay over $120 every month.
The cumulative money you spend over the years with the cable TV option is usually staggering. The satellite TV PC software is also legal and accessible anywhere in the world-as long as you have access to the internet. This revolutionary internet satellite TV software works with all versions of windows and is easy to use.
Please visit my website for more information on satellite and cable TV for PC software(see below) Robert has worked for a satellite TV company for many years. He now reviews new satellite tv for pc softwares. He tries to give insights and make the use of digital satellite tv at home pc easy. Walls 'R Us
Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking at Rutgers University in front of around 150 high school students, which was a lot better than speaking behind them. The subject was humor columns, so it goes without saying that walruses came up multiple times. I mean, so many times that I completely lost track. Like, at least seven times. As is evident from my enthusiasm, I felt proud to include walruses because they are left out of so many aspects of society: sleep-overs, camping trips, and even games of Monopoly, which is a shame because I think they'd be pretty good at it...
But then it happened. When the speech ended, I was approached by a girl who told me that her friend did not know what a walrus was. My immediate thought was that maybe she was kidding. She had to be, right? I mean, these are walruses we're talking about here, not some unpopular animal like a dog or a cat. But she was not kidding at all, so I needed to resort to explaining characteristics of a walrus:
They're like seals but with fangs, I first told her.
And they have whiskers, I added, and they are really heavy and live in the water.
But she still was not familiar with it, despite my very vivid details. In retrospect, maybe I should have mentioned that a walrus is a lot like Toys 'R Us but with an incorrectly spelled wall replacing the toys. However, I don't know if that would have worked either. Alas, she walked away telling me that she would look it up on Google. While I am glad she will finally get her answer as to the definition of a walrus, and will hopefully even get to see a walrus wearing a dress, it makes me think that none of us -- and I do mean none of us -- have done our job of correctly promoting walruses...
So with that, I plan to change everything. And I don't mean that I will convert all of my dollars into quarters; I mean that I will do whatever I can to inform people of the past, present and future of walruses. I will tell them of their many purposes: opening cans, playing whisker violins and even serving as very large paper weights for when a rock simply won't cut it. A year from now, or maybe even tomorrow, I want to be able to stand at a random street corner -- preferably one where there is no crime taking place -- and yell out "walrus!" and someone will yell back to me that a walrus would be a great letter opener or that a walrus could be a state senator if not for its inability to speak, or sign documents, or use ATM machines, among other minor technicalities...
And when all is said and done, if one walrus comes up to me to shake my hand and thank me, then I will know my time has been well spent...
But I digress.

Ethical Businesses Make More Money, "Period"
Most people and most businesses are devoted to doing the right thing. They are trying to deal with their customers, their vendors, their community, the environment, their investors and lenders all in a fair and ethical manner. If thats true how come all we ever hear about are the Enrons and Adelphias? And how come TV shows, movies and literature always depict business as a dog-eat-dog world?
With many years as a journalist and marketing communications practitioner behind me, I see a simple answer to this paradox. Good news is not news. Drama about good guys is not as interesting as the scoundrels. Occasionally theres someone like George Bailey in Its a Wonderful Life who comes out on top. But even that took divine intervention.
The truth is most folks are out there doing what they can to do the right thing even though they are not at all sure they are in the majority. Make no mistake; there are those who cut corners everywhere. And we have all been tempted to cover up our mistakes for one reason or another. But the vast majority are trying to take the high road.
Take heart. There is a new movement afoot to spread the news that following the highest ethical standards is the best route to higher profits. The evidence is mounting that those companies that follow an Ethical Business Model make more money that those that choose less savory alternatives.
Think about it, it makes sense. As my daddy used to say, Wouldnt you rather do business with an honest business? Wouldnt you rather do business where the employees look forward to coming to work every day? Wouldnt you rather do business with a company that helps out in the local community? That treats the environment like a fine watch. Of course you would. Sure you have to make money, but that comes naturally when you do the right thing.
It can pay off big time. The companies that follow this path stand to make many times the profits enjoyed by those who dont. Does doing the right thing insure success? Of course not. You still have to work hard, and you have to be lucky. But all things being equal on those counts, you will make a lot more money by doing the right thing.
In my new book, Play Nice, Make Money, I trace the history of companies built on this principle from the 1700s right up to this year. I use history and current case studies on both good guys and bad guys. And I show solid research to back up my position.
Join the revolution, recognize that we are a majority. Stand up for what you know to be right and what you believe in. Living the ethical life is a lot more fun and everyone needs to understand that, especially young people entering the business world. The rewards are many, and one of them may be financial.
Bill McKibben is the author of Play Nice, Make Money Check it out at http://www.Ethics-Guru.com He is the Senior Partner, Ethics Practice, of the Great Lakes Group.
